Maryanne Serignese

Campaign and Development Manager

Raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Maryanne spent the early part of her career moving up and down the east coast before calling Richmond home in 2018. She joined Venture Richmond in July 2024 as the Campaign & Development Manager.

In her role, Maryanne is responsible for overseeing the campaign to transform Brown’s Island into a world-class riverfront park, as well as furthering Venture Richmond’s work in Downtown Richmond by growing its fundraising capacity. Maryanne has over a decade of experience in nonprofit and political fundraising, most recently at the Autism Society of Central Virginia and Virginia Foundation for Community College Education, as well as time on numerous political campaigns. Maryanne is passionate about philanthropy and helping individuals and corporations support initiatives that make the community better for everyone.

Outside of the office, Maryanne calls the beautiful neighborhood of Byrd Park home with her husband, Paul, and two toddlers, Henry and Charlotte. She enjoys calligraphy, cooking for friends and family, and exploring the Downtown restaurant scene in her free time.
